Installation Guide

1. Safety First: Disconnect the battery and shift the outboard into the neutral position.
2. Lower Unit Removal: Loosen and remove the bolts securing the lower unit (gearcase) to the engine housing. Carefully lower the unit away from the engine.
3. Access the Pump: Locate and unbolt the water pump housing cover on top of the gearcase.
4. Disassemble: Remove the old impeller, insert cup, seals, gasket, and wear plate. Pay close attention to the orientation of each part.

8. Reassemble Housing: Apply a thin layer of marine grease to the inside of the housing and reinstall it, ensuring a tight seal. Torque bolts to manufacturer specifications.
9. Reinstall Lower Unit: Carefully guide the lower unit back into place, ensuring the driveshaft, shift rod, and water tube align correctly. Securely fasten the bolts.
