Installation Guide

1. Safety First: Ensure the engine is off and the boat is securely positioned on a trailer or lift. Disconnect the battery as a precaution.
2. Position the Hydrofoil: Place the hydrofoil stabilizer onto the anti-ventilation plate of the outboard motor or stern drive. Center it and ensure it is straight.
3. Mark Drill Holes: Use a marker or scribe to mark the four drill hole locations on the anti-ventilation plate through the mounting holes of the hydrofoil.
4. Drill the Holes: Remove the hydrofoil and carefully drill the four marked holes. Use a drill bit appropriate for the material of your anti-ventilation plate.
5. Attach the Hydrofoil: Position the rubber washers (if included) and the hydrofoil. Insert the stainless steel bolts from the top and secure them with the nuts from the bottom.
6. Tighten Securely: Tighten all bolts evenly and securely. Do not overtighten, as this could damage the plate or the hydrofoil.
7. Final Check: Once installed, double-check that the hydrofoil is firmly attached and does not interfere with the propeller's movement or the engine's tilt/trim functions.
