How to Match This Part
This is a flexible rubber raw water pump impeller. It sits inside the pump housing behind the cover plate and is driven by a splined shaft. It replaces the primary original part number Jabsco 22120-0001, now superseded by Jabsco 18777-0001, and is also supplied against Northern Lights 25-11063.
Match this part by checking your engine in this order:
1. Original impeller part number (stamped on the old impeller or listed in the pump section of your parts catalog)
2. Blade count (this listing is a 10-blade impeller, not the 12-blade 57 mm family)
3. Width (this listing is about 51 mm / 2 in. thick)
4. Pump model (cast or labelled on the pump body)
Identify it physically before ordering. This impeller has ten vanes moulded in black neoprene around a machined brass spline insert. Current Jabsco 18777-0001 is 57 mm (2-1/4 in.) diameter, 51 mm (2 in.) width and 16 mm (5/8 in.) bore, Profile HH. It is not interchangeable with the 12-blade 48 mm 13554-0001 or the 12-blade 31.5 mm 1210-0001.
- ✓ Primary OEM: Jabsco 22120-0001 (superseded by 18777-0001)
- ✓ Product form: 10-blade neoprene impeller, brass spline insert, 51 mm width
- ✓ Fitment: part number, then blade count, then pump model

Package Contents
This listing is for the impeller only, as shown in the product images. Please refer to the part number cross-reference table to confirm component details.
Cover plate gaskets and lubricant are not included. Jabsco 18777-0001-P is a kit number. If your service procedure calls for a new cover seal, order it separately against your pump model.
Installation Guide
-
1
Stop the engine, let it cool, and close the raw water seacock so water cannot enter the boat while the pump is open.
-
2
Remove the cover plate screws and lift off the cover. Keep the screws and the old gasket together so you can compare the seal size when reassembling.
-
3
Note the spline orientation, then grip the brass insert and pull the old impeller straight off. Recover any broken vane pieces from the downstream cooling circuit before continuing.
-
4
Clean the housing bore and the wear plate, and inspect them for scoring. Apply a marine-grade impeller lubricant, glycerine or soapy water to the bore and the new vanes. Do not use petroleum-based grease, which attacks neoprene.
-
5
Align the spline in the brass insert with the pump shaft, then press the impeller in while turning the shaft in the normal direction of rotation so all ten vanes lay over the same way.
-
6
Refit the cover plate with a serviceable gasket, tighten the screws evenly in a crisscross pattern, open the seacock, then start the engine and confirm a solid stream of cooling water and no leaks at the cover.
Note: Professional installation is recommended to ensure safety and optimal performance.
Troubleshooting & FAQ
How do I confirm this fits my engine?
+
Start from the original impeller number. If the old part is Jabsco 22120-0001, 18777-0001, Northern Lights 25-11063 or Volvo Penta 876120, and the impeller is 10-blade with a brass spline hub about 51 mm wide, this impeller is the correct size.
Is 18777-0001 the same as 22120-0001?
+
Yes for current service. Jabsco superseded 22120-0001 with 18777-0001. The current 10-blade Profile HH part is what this listing matches. Count the blades on the old impeller before ordering.
Is this the same as 13554-0001 or 1210-0001?
+
No. Those are 12-blade, 57 mm spline impellers (48 mm and 31.5 mm wide). This listing is 10-blade and 51 mm wide.
What are the signs that my impeller needs replacing?
+
The usual symptoms are a weak or intermittent stream of cooling water, rising engine temperature, and vanes that are cracked, flattened, hardened or missing on inspection. Flexible impellers are a wear item; inspect on a fixed service interval rather than waiting for failure.
Is this a kit or just the impeller?
+
This listing is the impeller only. Jabsco 18777-0001-P is a kit number that adds a gasket and lubricant.
Is this an OEM or aftermarket part?
+
This listing is an aftermarket replacement part and is not an OEM component. We build to OEM specifications using comparable-grade materials. Production is done in an ISO9002-certified facility, and each batch is inspected for consistent performance.
How fast do you ship and how much does it cost?
+
We offer fast global shipping, typically 5–15 days worldwide, and standard shipping is free. Expedited options are available at checkout depending on your location.
What is your warranty and return policy?
+
This product includes a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects under normal use. If something goes wrong, contact our support team with your order details. Returns are accepted within our standard return window for unused items in original condition; please see our policy page or reach out for instructions.
Important Notes
- Verify that the product images and specifications match your original part. If discrepancies exist, even if your model is listed, do not proceed with the purchase.
- This product is an aftermarket replacement part and is not an OEM component.
- The impeller is supplied on its own. Cover seals and lubricant must be ordered separately if your service procedure requires them.
- This is a 10-blade, 51 mm spline impeller. It will not fit the 12-blade 13554-0001 (48 mm) or 1210-0001 (31.5 mm).
- Never run the pump dry. Even a few seconds without water will damage the neoprene vanes.
- Professional installation is recommended to ensure safety and optimal performance.
