Installation Guide

1. Close the seacock to prevent water from entering the vessel.
2. Loosen the screws on the water pump cover to remove it.
3. Use needle-nose pliers or an impeller puller tool to carefully remove the old impeller.
4. Clean the inside of the pump housing, ensuring no old blade pieces remain.
5. Inspect the housing for scoring or cracks and check the cover plate for wear.
6. Apply a thin layer of water-resistant grease or soap to the inside of the pump housing and the new impeller.
7. Install the new impeller, rotating the shaft in the direction of engine operation to bend the blades correctly.
8. Replace the gasket or O-ring on the cover plate.
9. Secure the cover plate back onto the pump housing and tighten the screws evenly.
10. Re-open the seacock.
11. Start the engine and immediately check for leaks and proper water flow from the exhaust.
