Installation Guide

Allow the engine to cool completely and disconnect the battery before working on the exhaust system.

Support the exhaust hose and water hose, then unbolt and remove the old elbow. Protect the manifold mating face from damage.

Clean the flange face and compare the new elbow’s square 4-bolt flange, top water branch, and outlet to the removed part and the product images.

Install with the gasket and fasteners specified in your Volvo Penta parts list or service manual. Tighten evenly to the manual’s torque values.

Reconnect the water and exhaust hoses, secure all clamps, refill cooling water as required, and check for leaks at idle before returning to service.
Note: Follow the Volvo Penta service manual for torque and gasket requirements. Professional installation is recommended.
