Installation Guide

1. Ensure the engine is off and cool. Disconnect the negative battery terminal and shut off the fuel supply.
2. Remove the engine cowling or cover to access the carburetor.
3. Place a rag beneath the carburetor to catch any spilled fuel. Carefully disconnect the fuel line.
4. Note the position of and disconnect any throttle or choke linkages.
5. Remove the mounting nuts or bolts holding the carburetor to the intake manifold.
6. Carefully remove the carburetor. Disassemble it on a clean workbench, laying out parts in order.
7. Clean all metal components thoroughly with a quality carburetor cleaner. Do not spray cleaner on non-metal parts.
8. Using the new components from the kit, replace the old gaskets, seals, needle, and seat. Ensure the float height is set to factory specifications.
9. Reassemble the carburetor, making sure all parts are installed in the correct order and orientation.
