Installation Notes
- With the engine off, cool, and upright, gather the service manual, the required fluids, a drain pan, and clean rags.
- Service the engine oil filter and inline fuel filter following the engine manual; keep the fuel-filter flow direction consistent with the removed filter.
- Replace both gearcase drain/fill sealing washers during gearcase service. Use the included manual pump assembly to add the specified gear lubricant through the lower service opening.
- Install service screws to the engine maker’s specification, clean the area, and inspect the serviced points for leaks before operation.
