- Locate and remove the water pump housing by unscrewing mounting bolts. Note the orientation of all components.
- Remove the old impeller, gaskets, seals, and wear plate. Inspect the pump housing for corrosion or damage.
- Clean all mating surfaces thoroughly using a gasket scraper and suitable solvent. Ensure no debris remains.
- Install new oil seals (93101-23070) into the housing using a seal driver. Ensure they are seated evenly.
- Place the new wear plate (6CJ-44323-00) onto the housing with the smooth side facing the impeller. Apply marine grease to the plate.
- Lubricate the new impeller (6H3-44352-00) generously with marine grease. Install it with blades oriented in the correct rotation direction.
- Install the insert cup (63D-44322-00) and grommet (663-44366-00). Position new gaskets (6CJ-44315-00, 6CJ-44316-00, 6CJ-44324-00) on mating surfaces.
- Install the cover (63D-44312-00) and secure with new bolts (90119-08M14 and 90119-08M33). Torque to manufacturer specifications.
- Replace the thermostat (6G8-12411-00) with its gasket (62Y-12414-00). Install fuel filters (6C5-13915-00, 6D8-WS24A-00, 6C5-24251-00) and oil filter (5GH-13440-60).
