Installation Notes
- Work with the outboard upright and cool. Prepare the approved engine oil, gear oil, drain pan, and hand tools separately.
- During engine-oil service, replace the listed spin-on oil filter and engine-oil drain washer.
- During gearcase service, use the supplied pump and the two gearcase washers with fresh gear oil; tighten the plugs to the specification in the applicable owner’s manual.
- Before operation, inspect the serviced oil and fuel connections for leakage.
