Safety First: Disconnect the battery and close the water inlet seacock.

under the pump to catch any residual water.

Remove Hoses: Loosen the hose clamps and carefully detach the inlet and
outlet hoses from the pump.

Remove Pump Cover: Unscrew the bolts holding the raw water pump cover and
remove it.

Extract Old Impeller: Use impeller pullers or two flat-head
screwdrivers to carefully pry out the old impeller.

Remove Seals & Bearings: Remove the retaining ring, then press out the
old bearing and seal from the pump housing. Note their orientation.

Clean Housing: Thoroughly clean the pump housing, removing any debris, salt
deposits, or old gasket material.

Install New Components: Press the new seal and bearing into the housing,
using the retaining compound on the bearing. Install the new retaining ring.

Install New Impeller: Lightly lubricate the new impeller and housing interior
with a suitable marine lubricant. Insert the new impeller with a rotational motion to bend the
vanes correctly.

Reassemble: Install the new O-ring on the pump cover, then reattach the
cover with the new stainless steel screws.

Reconnect & Test: Reattach the water hoses and tighten the clamps.
Open the seacock and reconnect the battery.
