This Dual Octagon Transom Saver Kit includes two Yellow octagon supports and two Orange trailering motor locks / hydraulic steering stabilizer clips. Use two supports to balance the load on multi-ram (2/3 ram) tilt/trim systems during trailering — helping reduce strain on the transom and hydraulic components while the locks limit steering swing.

Installation Notes

1. Trim the outboard to a high trailering position.
2. Identify the main tilt/trim ram (and second ram if using a dual-body kit).
3. Place the support body onto the exposed ram so it seats between the engine and transom bracket area.
4. Slowly lower the motor until the support is lightly compressed and the engine feels stable.
5. Repeat with the second support on the other ram for balanced load.
6. Clip the trailering motor locks onto the hydraulic steering cylinder to limit side-to-side movement (when included).
7. Before launching, raise the motor slightly and remove the support(s) and locks.

Do not force-fit. If the body does not seat cleanly, stop and verify ram style/clearance.
