Installation Guide
- 1Turn the ignition off and disconnect the negative battery cable before working around the trim system or electrical harness.
- 2Locate the existing digital trim sender on the power-trim / swivel-bracket area per your engine’s parts diagram. Note connector orientation and mounting fastener positions before removal.
- 3Unplug the harness, remove the mounting fasteners, and withdraw the old sender. Compare the new unit side by side with the original — mounting pattern and connector must match the product images.
- 4Install the new sender in the same orientation, tighten fasteners to the torque values in your Mercury / Mariner service manual, and mate the connector until it latches.
- 5Reconnect the battery, run the trim through its full range, and confirm smooth gauge / display response with no binding of the sender drive.
