Installation Notes

  1. Secure the raised sterndrive in accordance with the applicable service procedure before working near the trim cylinders.
  2. Remove the existing cap from the pivot-pin area, then clean grease and debris from the pin and surrounding surface.
  3. Align the new cap over the pin and press evenly by hand until the cap snaps into place.
  4. Repeat for the remaining cap locations required by the service, then operate the trim system in a safe area to confirm free movement.
