Installation Guide

Follow these general steps for installation. Professional installation is recommended for optimal performance and safety.

  1. Center the hydrofoil on the anti-cavitation plate of your outboard or sterndrive motor. Ensure it is positioned correctly for your specific engine model.
  2. With the hydrofoil held firmly in place, use a marker to mark the locations for the four mounting holes.
  3. Remove the hydrofoil and carefully drill the four marked holes through the cavitation plate. Start with a smaller pilot bit if necessary.
  4. Place the rubber gaskets between the hydrofoil and the cavitation plate to reduce vibration.
  5. Align the hydrofoil with the drilled holes and insert the SS316 bolts from the top.
  6. From underneath, secure the bolts with the provided nuts and washers, tightening them evenly until the hydrofoil is firmly attached. Do not overtighten.
