Installation Guide

1. Turn off the engine and close the seacock to stop water flow to the pump.
2. Loosen the screws and remove the pump's cover plate. Note the direction the impeller blades are bent.
3. Use needle-nose pliers or an impeller puller to remove the old impeller from the pump housing.
4. Clean the inside of the pump housing, removing any old debris or impeller fragments.
5. Apply a small amount of water-resistant grease or liquid soap to the inside of the housing and on the new impeller.
6. Install the new impeller with a twisting motion, ensuring the blades are bent in the same direction as the old one.
7. Place the correct new gasket or O-ring onto the cover plate.
8. Re-secure the cover plate, tightening the screws evenly.
9. Open the seacock, start the engine, and immediately check the pump for any leaks.
