Installation Guide

1. Ensure the engine is off and the battery is disconnected for safety.
2. Remove the lower casing (gearcase) from the outboard motor.
3. Unscrew the bolts holding the water pump housing in place and lift the housing off.
4. Pay close attention to the orientation of the old impeller's fins before removing it from the driveshaft.
5. Remove the old impeller and the drive key/pin from the driveshaft.
6. Thoroughly clean the interior of the pump housing and inspect it for any deep scores, warping, or damage.
7. Insert the new drive pin into the driveshaft and slide the new impeller on.
8. While turning the driveshaft clockwise, press the housing down over the new impeller to correctly seat the fins.
9. Securely fasten the water pump housing bolts to the manufacturer's recommended torque.
10. Reinstall the lower unit onto the outboard motor.
