Installation Guide

1. Disconnect the battery and ensure the engine is turned off and cool.
2. Drain the gearcase oil from the lower unit.
3. Remove the propeller and unbolt the lower unit from the engine. Carefully lower it.
4. Locate and unbolt the water pump housing. Note the orientation of the bolts.
5. Remove the old housing, impeller, wear plate, gaskets, and O-rings.
6. Clean all mating surfaces thoroughly, removing any old gasket material or sealant.
7. Install the new gasket, wear plate, and impeller key.
8. Slide the new impeller onto the driveshaft, turning it clockwise to seat the vanes correctly inside the new housing.
9. Install the new housing, O-rings, and other components from the kit. Ensure all seals are seated properly.
10. Tighten the housing bolts to the manufacturer's specified torque.
11. Re-install the lower unit, reconnect all linkages, and refill with fresh gearcase oil.
12. Reconnect the battery and test the engine using a water supply (flushing muffs) to verify proper cooling system operation.
