Installation Guide

3. Locate the water pump housing on top of the lower unit and remove its mounting bolts.

5. Remove the old impeller, key, and any gaskets from the driveshaft. Clean the housing and mating surfaces.
6. Install the new key and slide the new impeller onto the driveshaft, rotating it in the direction of engine travel to bend the blades correctly.
7. Install the new gasket(s) and reinstall the water pump housing, tightening bolts to the specified torque.
8. Re-attach the lower unit to the outboard, ensuring the driveshaft and water tube align properly.
