- Access the Fuel Rail: Remove any components blocking access to the fuel rail and injectors.
- Disconnect Injectors: Carefully unplug the electrical connector from each fuel injector you are replacing.
- Remove Fuel Rail: Unbolt the fuel rail from the intake manifold. Gently rock or pull the rail to release the injectors from their ports.
- Remove Old Injectors: Pull the old injectors straight out from the fuel rail. Remove and discard the old O-rings and grommets.
- Prepare for Installation: Clean the injector ports on the intake manifold and the mounting points on the fuel rail to ensure a clean sealing surface.
- Install New Injectors: Lightly lubricate the new O-rings with clean engine oil. Press the new injectors firmly into the fuel rail until they seat correctly.
