Installation Guide

  1. Disconnect the battery and ensure the engine is off and cool before beginning work.
  2. Access the sterndrive unit and locate the fork assembly where the old bushings are installed.
  3. Carefully remove the existing worn or damaged bushings from the fork. Clean the mounting area thoroughly to remove debris and corrosion.
  4. Inspect the fork and surrounding components for any signs of excessive wear or damage that may require additional service.
  5. Insert the new plastic bushings into the fork assembly, ensuring they are properly seated and aligned.
  6. Verify that both bushings are securely in place and that there is no excessive play or movement.
  7. Reassemble the sterndrive components in reverse order of disassembly, following your engine's service manual.
  8. Reconnect the battery and test the drive operation to confirm proper installation and smooth movement.
