Troubleshooting & FAQ
How do I confirm this impeller fits my engine?
First, check the "Compatible Engine Models" table on this page. Cross-reference your engine's brand, horsepower, and year. Second, verify your existing part number against the "Part Number Cross-Reference" table to ensure it matches one of the listed OEM or aftermarket numbers.
What are the signs of a failing water pump impeller?
Common symptoms include the engine overheating at idle or low speeds, a weak or non-existent water stream from the "telltale" outlet, and in some cases, a rattling noise from the lower unit. A damaged impeller cannot effectively cool the engine.
How often should I replace the impeller?
For preventative maintenance, it is recommended to inspect the impeller annually and replace it every 1-2 years, depending on usage (e.g., hours run, saltwater vs. freshwater operation). Frequent use in sandy or silty water may require more frequent replacement.
Is everything I need for installation included?
The package contains the impeller itself. A key pin and lockwasher are included in some, but not all, packages. Please check the "Package Contents" section for details. Gaskets or seals are not included unless specified.
OEM vs. Aftermarket?
This listing is an aftermarket replacement part (not an OEM component). We build to OEM specifications using comparable-grade materials. Production is done in an ISO9002-certified facility, and each batch is inspected for consistent performance.
How fast do you ship and how much does it cost?
We offer fast global shipping—typically 5–15 days worldwide—and standard shipping is free. Expedited options are available at checkout depending on your location.
What is your warranty and return policy?

Returns are accepted within our standard return window (unused & in original condition); please see our policy page or reach out for instructions.
