This aftermarket oxygen sensor replaces Honda Marine 35668-ZY6-003 (Honda LAF / lean air-fuel sensor). It threads into the exhaust passage on selected Honda BF115D, BF135A4, BFT115A, and BFT150A four-stroke outboards and reports exhaust oxygen so the ECM can trim fuel.
Match this part in this order:
1. OEM number on the removed sensor or in your Honda parts catalog (35668-ZY6-003)
2. Model code — BF115D / DK1, BF135A4 / AK2, BFT115A, or BFT150A in the table below
3. Physical connector and thread — compare the product images with the sensor you remove before ordering (sealed 4-pin rectangular plug on a blue-sheathed pigtail)
This is not Honda 35655-ZY3-003 / 35655-ZY3-013 (the oxygen sensor used on BF175 / BF200 / BF225). If your catalog or removed sensor shows a ZY3 number for a V6 outboard, order that listing instead.
Use this table to confirm equivalent part numbers before you order.
| Type | Brand | Part Number | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| OEM | Honda Marine | 35668-ZY6-003 | Primary reference (LAF / air-fuel ratio sensor) |
| OEM | Tohatsu | HZY635668003 | Equivalent OEM number on Tohatsu-branded applications |
| Aftermarket | Sierra | 18-7659 | Direct aftermarket replacement |
Part numbers are listed for identification only. This is an aftermarket part manufactured by JLM Marine and is not sold as a genuine Honda or Tohatsu component.
Confirm your engine model code below, then match the OEM number on the sensor you remove. On Honda outboards the identification plate is typically on the stern bracket. Year and serial cut-offs vary by catalog revision, so OEM number match is the safest check.
| Engine Model | HP | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| BF115D / DK1 | 115 | 4-stroke I4 EFI; when catalog/OEM shows 35668-ZY6-003 |
| BFT115A | 115 | 4-stroke I4 EFI; when catalog/OEM shows 35668-ZY6-003 |
| BF135A4 / AK2 | 135 | 4-stroke I4 EFI; when catalog/OEM shows 35668-ZY6-003 |
| BFT150A | 150 | 4-stroke I4 EFI; when catalog/OEM shows 35668-ZY6-003 |
Do not order this sensor for Honda BF175 / BF200 / BF225 applications that specify 35655-ZY3-003 or 35655-ZY3-013.
| Specification | Value |
|---|---|
| Part type | Oxygen / LAF (lean air-fuel) sensor for programmed fuel injection |
| Primary OEM number | 35668-ZY6-003 |
| Related Tohatsu OEM | HZY635668003 |
| Electrical connector | Sealed 4-pin rectangular plug on pigtail harness |
| Mounting | Threaded hex body into the exhaust manifold / exhaust passage |
| Engine type | Honda Marine 4-stroke I4 EFI outboard (115–150 HP class when OEM matches) |
| Brand positioning | Aftermarket replacement — not genuine Honda OEM |
Allow the engine and exhaust components to cool fully. Disconnect the battery negative cable before unplugging the sensor connector.
Note the harness routing and clip positions, then release the lock tab and unplug the four-pin connector. Unscrew the old sensor from the exhaust boss with an oxygen-sensor socket or slotted wrench on the hex — do not pull on the cable.
Confirm the OEM number 35668-ZY6-003 and the sealed 4-pin connector match this assembly and the product images. Keep the sensing tip and protection cap free of oil, grease, sealant, and solvent. Thread the new sensor in by hand to avoid cross-threading, then tighten on the hex per the Honda service manual for your model.
Route the pigtail along the original path, reconnect the plug until it locks, restore any harness clips, reconnect the battery, start the engine on a water supply, and confirm there is no exhaust leak at the bung and no oxygen-sensor fault.
Note: Professional installation is recommended to ensure safety and optimal performance.
This is an aftermarket JLM Marine replacement matched to Honda 35668-ZY6-003. It is not a genuine Honda part.
Start with the model code on your stern bracket plate (BF115D / DK1, BF135A4 / AK2, BFT115A, or BFT150A), then confirm the number on your original sensor is 35668-ZY6-003 (or Tohatsu HZY635668003) and that the connector is the same sealed four-pin shape shown in the product images.
No. Those V6 models use a different Honda oxygen-sensor family (35655-ZY3-003 / 35655-ZY3-013). Order only if your removed sensor or catalog calls for 35668-ZY6-003.
Published year cut-offs differ across catalogs, so this listing does not print a year range. Match the OEM number on the sensor you remove, then confirm the connector against the product images.
