Installation Guide

1. Disconnect the battery and remove the lower unit from the outboard motor.
2. Unbolt and remove the water pump housing. Take note of the position of all parts.
3. Remove the old impeller, wear plate, gaskets, and O-rings.
4. Clean all mating surfaces thoroughly, removing any old gasket material or debris.
5. Install the new wear plate and gaskets.
6. Slide the new key onto the driveshaft and push the new impeller down over it.
7. Lubricate the inside of the pump housing and the impeller with silicone grease or dish soap.
8. Reinstall the water pump housing and tighten the bolts to the manufacturer's specified torque.
9. Reattach the lower unit and test the engine's cooling system operation.
