Installation Guide

1. Disconnect the battery and remove the propeller.
2. Unbolt and carefully lower the gearcase assembly from the outboard engine.
3. Remove the water pump housing bolts and slide the housing up the driveshaft.
4. Remove the old impeller, noting the orientation of the vanes.
5. Slide the Woodruff key into its slot on the driveshaft.
6. Align the new impeller with the Woodruff key and slide it down the driveshaft.
7. Apply a light coat of marine grease to the inside of the pump housing.
8. Reinstall the housing, ensuring the impeller vanes are oriented correctly (typically clockwise).
9. Reassemble the gearcase and all other components in reverse order.
10. Test the engine using a water source (flushing muffs) to confirm proper water flow.
