This carburetor repair kit includes all necessary seals and gaskets required to rebuild carburetors on the following Mercury Mariner models:
Q: How do I confirm this kit fits my specific Mercury carburetor model?
A: Check the WME model number stamped on your carburetor body and cross-reference it with the compatible models listed (WME 1–35 series). You can also verify your engine's HP rating and cylinder count against the fitment table above.
Q: What are the signs that my carburetor seals need replacement?
A: Common symptoms include fuel leaks around the carburetor, rough idle, difficulty starting, inconsistent engine performance, and fuel odor. If gaskets appear cracked, hardened, or compressed, replacement is necessary.
Q: How often should I rebuild my carburetor with a new seal kit?
A: Carburetor seals typically require replacement every 3–5 years depending on usage and fuel quality. If you notice performance issues or visible deterioration of gaskets during maintenance, rebuild immediately regardless of time interval.
Q: Can I reuse any of the old gaskets during installation?
A: No, always replace all seals and gaskets during a carburetor rebuild. Reusing compressed or aged gaskets will result in fuel leaks and poor performance, negating the benefits of your rebuild effort.
Q: Will this kit work on both standard and JET model outboards?
A: Yes, this repair kit is designed to fit both standard Mercury Mariner outboards and JET models within the specified HP range. Verify your specific model against the compatibility table to ensure proper fitment.
Q: What's the difference between OEM and aftermarket carburetor kits?
A: This listing is an aftermarket replacement part (not an OEM component). We build to OEM specifications using comparable-grade materials. Production is done in an ISO9002-certified facility, and each batch is inspected for consistent performance.
Q: How fast do you ship and how much does it cost?
A: We offer fast global shipping—typically 5–15 days worldwide—and standard shipping is free. Expedited options are available at checkout depending on your location.
Q: What is your warranty and return policy?
A: This product includes a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects under normal use. If something goes wrong, contact our support team with your order details. Returns are accepted within our standard return window (unused & in original condition); please see our policy page or reach out for instructions.

I was very disappointed in the quality and fit of the kit gaskets to the point I had to reuse my old gaskets where the carbs meet the head of the engine. The idle needle screws did not fit and I cleaned and reused my old ones because I was afraid the new ones would strip the threads out on my carbs. I did use the new fuel inlet needle and forced the front carburetor gaskets to work because my old ones were destroyed when taking them off. I truly do not believe this was the correct kit or it was of cheap quality due to its Chinese manufacturing process. This was a concern when I found the kits were of Chinese origin. I was informed I was given a refund after I complained I was not informed the kits were Chinese made.
