- Match each included filter and seal to the removed component before installation.
- Install the oil and fuel filters in the original orientation. Follow the engine service manual for tightening and fuel-system priming.
- Fit both new gearcase drain gaskets and use the included pump for gear-oil transfer. Follow the service manual for the fill procedure and plug sequence.
- Inspect every serviced joint for leakage and verify fluid levels before returning the outboard to operation.
