Installation Guide

1. Center: Position the hydrofoil onto the center of the anti-ventilation plate on your motor.
2. Mark: Use a marker to indicate the four mounting hole locations on the plate through the holes on the hydrofoil.
3. Drill: Carefully drill the four marked holes using the included 6.5mm drill bit. Ensure the drill is perpendicular to the plate.
4. Mount: Place the hydrofoil back onto the plate, aligning it with the newly drilled holes.
5. Secure: Insert the provided stainless steel screws and fasten them with the corresponding nuts.
6. Tighten & Verify: Tighten all nuts securely. Before operating your boat, double-check that the hydrofoil is firmly attached.

How do I confirm this fits my engine?

This hydrofoil is designed for most outboard motors and stern drives in the 8-40 HP range. However, it will not fit Mercury 40-60 HP Four Stroke models. Please verify your engine's horsepower rating and model. For some Volvo Penta drives (SX-A, DPS series), longer bolts are required and are not included.
