Installation Guide

1. Disconnect Power: Begin by disconnecting the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Drain Gear Lube: Position a drain pan under the lower unit and remove the upper and lower gear lube drain screws to drain the oil.
3. Remove Lower Unit: Remove the bolts securing the lower unit (gearcase) to the engine's midsection and carefully lower it.
4. Access Water Pump: Remove the bolts on top of the water pump housing to lift it off the driveshaft.
5. Inspect & Remove Old Parts: Take note of the old impeller's vane direction. Remove the old housing, impeller, wear plate, gaskets, and Woodruff key.
