Installation Guide

1. Ensure the engine is off and the water intake seacock is closed.
2. Place a container under the pump to catch any spilled water or coolant.
3. Remove the screws holding the water pump cover plate.
4. Carefully pry off the cover. Note the direction of the old impeller blades for reference.
5. Use pliers or an impeller puller tool to remove the old impeller from the pump housing.
6. Clean the inside of the pump housing, removing any debris or old gasket material.
7. Lubricate the new impeller and the inside of the housing with a suitable marine lubricant.
8. Install the new impeller, ensuring the blades are bent in the correct direction of the pump's rotation.
9. Replace the cover gasket and O-ring with the new ones provided in the kit.
10. Reinstall the pump cover and tighten the screws evenly.
11. Open the water intake seacock.
