Installation Guide
Follow these steps for a secure and lasting application:
- Clean the Surface: Thoroughly clean the fuel cap or application area to remove all dirt, oil, wax, and residue.
- Dry the Area: Ensure the surface is completely dry before proceeding. Any moisture can weaken the adhesive bond.
- Peel the Sticker: Carefully peel the vinyl sticker from its paper backing.
- Apply Firmly: Align the sticker on the desired surface and press down firmly. Start from the center and smooth outwards to eliminate any air bubbles.
Troubleshooting & FAQ
Q: How do I know if these stickers will fit my vehicle's fuel cap?
A: These are universal-fit stickers with dimensions of 2.17" × 0.82" (55.1 mm × 20.8 mm). They are designed to fit most standard fuel caps on cars, trucks, and boats, but we strongly recommend measuring your specific application area to ensure a perfect fit before ordering.
Q: How durable are these stickers against fuel spills and weather?
A: The stickers are manufactured from high-quality, weatherproof vinyl. They are specifically designed to be waterproof and resistant to damage from diesel fuel spillage, sun-induced fading, and scratches, ensuring long-lasting visibility.
Q: What is the best way to apply the sticker to ensure it doesn't peel off?
A: For maximum adhesion, the application surface must be completely clean and dry. Use an alcohol wipe or similar degreaser to remove any wax, oil, or residue. After applying, press firmly across the entire surface to create a strong bond.
