Disconnect the battery negative cable before working on trim or helm electrical circuits.

Locate the existing Power Trim control panel at the helm. Note the mounting fasteners and the wiring connector orientation, then carefully unplug the harness.

Compare the removed panel’s OEM number and connector style to this 3855650 replacement and to the product images. Do not force a mismatched connector.

Install the new control unit in the same panel opening, reconnect the harness fully seated, restore battery power, and test trim-up, trim-down, and full tilt before returning the boat to service.
Note: If the harness plug, panel cutout, or button arrangement does not match, stop and re-check the OEM number. Have a marine technician complete the install when trim hydraulics or wiring are unfamiliar.
