Installation Guide

  1. Ensure the engine is completely cool and disconnect the fuel line before beginning any service work.
  2. Drain the engine oil and remove the old oil filter. Replace with the new 3BJ-07615-0 oil filter.
  3. Remove the lower unit and drain the gear oil completely. Replace with the new 24OP149 gear oil pump.
  4. Replace both 332-60006 drain gaskets on the lower unit drain and fill plugs.
  5. Remove the thermostat housing and replace with the new 3R3-01030-0 thermostat and 346-01032-0 gasket.
  6. Install the 362-87322-0 water pump repair kit components.
  7. Replace the fuel filter with the new 369-02230-0 fuel filter.
  8. Refill the engine with fresh oil and gear oil to recommended levels.
  9. Reinstall all components and verify proper operation.
