Allow the engine and exhaust components to cool fully. Disconnect the battery negative cable before unplugging the sensor connector.

Note the harness routing and clip positions, then release the lock tab and unplug the four-pin connector. Unscrew the old sensor from the exhaust boss with an oxygen-sensor socket or slotted wrench on the hex — do not pull on the cable.

Confirm the OEM number 35668-ZY6-003 and the sealed 4-pin connector match this assembly and the product images. Keep the sensing tip and protection cap free of oil, grease, sealant, and solvent. Thread the new sensor in by hand to avoid cross-threading, then tighten on the hex per the Honda service manual for your model.

Route the pigtail along the original path, reconnect the plug until it locks, restore any harness clips, reconnect the battery, start the engine on a water supply, and confirm there is no exhaust leak at the bung and no oxygen-sensor fault.
